XKITE - WHO WE ARE

xkite is an association founded in 2004. Our goal is to develope kitesurf, kitesnow, buggy and all the sports related with wind. We organize lessons, courses, events, holidays. If you want to know us better, read our statuto (in italian): statuto xkite

Xkite has two kite centers at the moment, in which you can have lessons, ask for assistance or test new equipment.The first one is in Brenzone, Lago di Garda, the other one is in Marsa Alam, Egypt.

OUR STAFF

In our  school you will find professional and expert instructors and assistant-instructors. Our staff will follow you step by step during the lessons, but also once you have completed the courses, we will be always at your disposal for any suggestion.

Thomas Freddi
He has wind in his blood! 
Since he was a child he was in the italian national sailing team; then he tryed paragliding and power kites (buggy and kitesnow). He was one of the first kitesurfers in Italy. He has the IKU and FKI instructor license: few instructors have his experience! 

He founded xkite, and he is the president of our association. He has a very big creativity, but a very small memory! He's always loosing keys, his cell phone, jackets...

If you are already able to kitesurf, he will drive you in the middle of the lake, looking for the perfect wind. He will be you guardian angel.

  
Giulia Seppi

From the desk to the board.

She started working with xkite as a secretary, but after few months she fonded herself between kites and boards... So, now she moves from the computer to the boat. She has the IKO, FKI, and IKU licence, what else????

When she is not teaching, she likes reading, travelling or just staying with her cats and dogs.

Francesco Ponti

An all-around kiter. When he is not busy teaching kitesurf, he loves any kind of kite power. Since 1998 he is one of the best kitesnow-riders in Italy (Italian Kitesnow Champion in 2005). He also likes to design and create his own kites.

He has sensitivity, tecnique and a cool-attitude: if you watch him playing with his acrobatic kites, you'll be hypnotized. 
He can turn wind in sounds, colours and mouvements.

Max Piona

XKite has changed his life. He left everything to follow the wind.

He went teaching kitesurf all around the world, from Australia to Cabarete (Dominican Republic), from Morocco to Egypt... Thank's to his great experience and know-how, he is actually the first IKO examiner in Italy.

He will touch your heart with his happyness and joyfulness.

Marina Bernasconi

Do you need any information about the school? Any doubt about the equipment? Do you need the licence? Do you need some help to prepare the kite?

Marina is the right person! Always ready to help you, always ready to  smile. She will be close to you from the first lesson to the last one. 

She's a very professional instructor, but also a good friend. 

Martino Borgo

 He's a sort of kite-hero, always there in case of emergency! 

He has is own job, but he helps us every day-off. We secretly hope that sooner or later he will leave his job and become a full time xkite instructor

Alessandro Pisanò

A real kitesurf talent!

 He can follow you from the first experience with the kite to learning all the tricks. Handle-passe or kite-loop have no secrets for him. 

In winter time he works with us in our school in Marsa Alam, Egypt, while in summer he cannot stay away from his Puglia. So, he will show you the most beautiful spots in South Italy. 

He doesn't know what cold is...

 

 

 

Luca Zaniboni

He started working with us in summer 2008. 

After getting a licence as a IKU instructor, he decided to improve his experience in our school in Garda lake, but he soon demonstrated to be ready to teach, and we asked him to be a part of our team. 

So this year he will be working with us on Garda lake, but also in Egypt.
