OUR KITE-CENTER ON GARDA LAKE

(opening period: 1 april - 30 september)

Our kite-center is part of a sporting club called "Centro Sportivo Acquafresca".

In this area of the lake the wind is perfect for kitesurfing, almost all day long, and you can choose the best wind conditions, depending on your level.

In the morning we usually have a fresh wind coming from the north, called Pelèr, that easily reach the speed of 20/25 knots. It's perfect if you already have some confidence with kites. In the afternoon you can find a warm termal wind from south, called Ora, that usually blows from 12 to 16 knots. The perfect conditions for beginners and for those who prefere to practice in light/medium wind conditions.

In the club there is the oppotunity to play football, volley, basket, and you can also find restaurant, showers, parking place. A sailing school is also available.

HOW TO REACH US

The school is on the main street SR249 - Gardesana, between two small villages called "Porto" and "Assenza", in Comune di Brenzone, on the east side of Garda lake. Here below a more detailed map of the area.

Coming from north: follow the highway A22 Brennero-Modena. Exit: Rovereto Sud-Lago di Garda nord. At the round-about, 3rd exit, and follow the direction Mori-Riva del Garda. When you arrive in Torbole, at the round-about go straight on, direction Verona: SR249-Gardesana. After 15 km you will reach a village called Malcesine, with his particular castle. Follow the main street, and after few km you will meet Cassone and then Assenza. You will see an island. Keep on driving on the main street: our club is just 500 meters after the village of Assenza, on the right-hand side; you will see the sailing club and a flag with our logo. You have arrived!

Coming from South: follow the highway A22 Modena-Brennero. Exit Affi-Lago di Garda; follow direction Garda-Malcesine-Riva del Garda. Once you arrive in Garda, turn right in direction Malcesine-Riva del Garda on the main street SR249-Gardesana. You will find some small villages: Torri del Benaco - Pai - Castelletto - Magugnano. Keep on driving on the main street and you will find the small village called Porto: our club is just 500 meters after the village of Porto, on the left-hand side. You will see the sailing club and a flag with our logo: you have arrived!

With public transports: Verona's airport Catulllo. From the airport you can take a shuttle  bus to Verona (every 20  minutes) and then the bus APTV 62-64 direction Garda-Malcesine-Riva del Garda. Ask the driver to stop in Acquafresca - Porto di Brenzone.
